1. What's the most unexpected or memorable encounter you've had with wildlife during an open water swim?

Mostly fish so far. Nothing too exciting or worrisome yet. I like to imagine the lake naiads are swimming along with us though.

None yet

3. What's the most breathtaking open water location you've swum in, and what made it so special?

I suppose just Flathead lake so far! I need to go other places. But Flathead is very breathtaking. 

4. How has open water swimming influenced your perspective on overcoming challenges in life outside of the water?

It has been so helpful! This time last year I still would have been shocked if you told me I was swimming and especially open water swimming. If I can grow so much in this area where else and what else can I change this year!
