CHASING THE GRIZZLY

The 15-mile crossing, Chasing the Grizzly, is Stage One of the Flathead Lake Open Water Virtual Triple Crown.

In 2010, a 4-year-old female Grizzly made her way across Flathead Lake and a GPS collar tracked the epic journey from Painted Rocks, Cedar Island, Wild Horse Island, Rocky Point, Bird Island, and finally to the West Shore near Blue Bay.

Please join us in Chasing the Grizzly along the same path!  Click this link to read background of this swim: GRIZZLY SWIM.  Also, check out our YouTube video:  Chasing the Grizzly Promo, and the extra footage of a bear actually swimming part of the Grizzly route in May of this year:  SWIMMING BEAR.
